User Interface Tab
Use this tab to specify settings for screen configuration changes.
You can personalize your Costpoint screen configuration by clicking
on the Global Toolbar or click the login name on the Global Toolbar to display the screen configurations panel.User Interface Settings
Use this group box to set access rights for this user to screen configurations on his or her workstation.

Allow Saving of Personal Screen Configurations |
Select this checkbox to allow this user to personalize and save screen configurations. |
Allow UI Profile My Menu Override | Select this checkbox to allow users to override the My Menu for their UI profile and add applications to My Menu. This setting is enabled by default. |
Clear this checkbox to restrict a user from adding applications to their user My Menu. When this setting is disabled, Manage My Menu in the left Navigation menu and the My Menu gear icon on the Welcome screen are not available to the user. Also, the user can not favorite or star an application from the Navigation menu. | |
If a user has customized their My Menu and you disable this setting, My Menu will revert to the configuration set up in the user profile. | |
Allow Screen Configuration Changes for UI Profiles |
Select this checkbox to allow this user to select and use UI profiles to personalize screen configurations. |
Allow to Enter Navigation | Select this checkbox to give this user the option to select application group headers for navigation banners in My Menu on the Configure User Preferences screen. Users must have security access to applications to see the application names and links in My Menu and the navigation banner. |
Enable Autocomplete |
Select this checkbox to enable the autocomplete feature for fields that have options. Whenever you enter a value (for example, user ID, buyer name, vendor address) in a field, autocomplete displays suggested values that you can select and use for that field. For example, when you enter 'AI' in a User ID field, autocomplete displays a list of user IDs that start with 'AI'. You can then select one of those suggested values for the User ID field. |
Enable Hey Deltek! |
This setting is enabled by default. Select this checkbox to give this user the option to use Hey Deltek! voice interaction to enter information into Costpoint. Clear this checkbox to turn this feature off for the user. When Hey Deltek! is turned off, the user cannot edit the setting in Configure User Preferences. |
Use Auto Position mode |
Use this field to allow this user to switch on/off Auto Position mode. |
Default Application ID |
Enter, or click to select, the ID of the application that will automatically launch when the user logs in to Costpoint. |
Application Name |
Click to select the name of the application that will automatically launch when the user logs in to Costpoint. If you selected an application in the Default Application ID field, this field displays the associated application name. |
