Contents of the Manage BI Settings Screen

Use the fields to manage Business Intelligence (BI) settings.

Field	Description
Enable Costpoint Organization Security	Select Yes to enable Organization Security for the Costpoint model. Model security is enabled by default.
Enable CP Organization Security By Module	Select Yes to enable organization security in the secure models in BI. You must also enable organization security on the Activate/Inactivate Organization Security By Module screen by selecting the Apply Org Security check box for the module.
Enable Project Roles Security	Select Yes to enable Project Role Security that allows users only to see the projects they have assigned roles for in the BI reports.
Enable T&E Model Security	Select Yes to enable security for the Time model in BI.
Enable Planning Security	Select Yes to enable model security for the Project Planning Reporting model. Model security is enabled by default. If you select No, make sure that the CPSUPERUSER is included in the Manage Security Org Rights screen with access to all your organizations. In this way, users will have access to Planning data. Note: If you select No in any of the fields mentioned above, only Model Security is disabled. Capability and Object Security are still in place in Costpoint Business Intelligence. If Parts Security or SSN suppression is applied in Costpoint, they are implemented as well regardless of the settings for model security.
