Time Controls

From the Time Controls menu, access applications that enable you to configure the Time module.

Time Settings

Use the Time Settings screen to establish system-wide configuration options for time processing in Deltek Time & Expense. Use it to establish a foundation for the business rules within the system.

Utilization Categories

Use the Utilization Categories screen to add, edit, or delete utilization codes. You must set up utilization codes before you can set up UDT01 types.

Leave Types

Use the Leave Types screen when you initialize Deltek Time. You should set up leave types before you set up timesheet classes.

Company Work Schedules

Use the Company Work Schedules screen to add, edit, and delete work schedule codes. Work schedules define workdays, non-workdays, off days, and holidays. Use the Company Work Schedules screen to provide the system with important information on the presentation and edit of time entry.

Timesheet Schedules

Use the Timesheet Schedules screen to provide the starting and ending dates for timesheets and to provide the scope of a specific period. Timesheets are signed and approved according to the timesheet schedules. You should set up timesheet schedules before you enter employee history information.

Timesheet Classes

Use the Timesheet Classes screen to associate business rules with certain types of employees. This screen allows you to add, edit, delete, and link items for a timesheet class. Costpoint supports an unlimited number of timesheet classes. Examples of timesheet classes are "Hourly" or "Salary."

Wage Schedules

Use the Wage Schedules screen to set up a new wage schedule record or to change or delete an existing one.

Workflow Events

Use the Workflow Events screen when you need to set up employee and other notifications that are configured to display as either tasks or e-mails.

Interim Charges

Use this screen to create timesheet charge codes in cases where one does not already exist.
