Drill-Through

In the End Date column, click a timesheet period link to open the Timesheet or Time Clock screen in Time & Expense and view more information about the timesheet. You can also perform several other tasks on the Timesheet or Time Clock screen, which include filling out your timesheet, correcting a processed timesheet, reviewing leave balances and accruals, and setting up favorites for the charges you frequently use.

Note: Your timesheet class entry mode must be set to Time Clock to be able to use the Time Clock application. If you are already using Time Clock and you open timesheets from earlier periods from this dashpart, the timesheets will display in the traditional Timesheet screen as read-only. Any corrections to Time Clock entries must be performed by an administrator.

The other drill-through links on this dashpart include:

  • Launch: This link displays only if you have not selected any checkbox corresponding to the timesheets. When you click this link, the Timesheet or Time Clock screen opens with the most recent timesheet record with an Open status. If no record is in Open status, the screen opens with a blank record.
  • Launch Selected: This link displays only if you have selected one or multiple checkboxes corresponding to the timesheets that you want to view in Timesheet or Time Clock. You can select the checkboxes individually, or select the Select All checkbox (at the top of the first column) to select all timesheets. When you click Launch Selected, the Timesheet or Time Clock screen displays all the records you selected from this dashpart.
Note: Depending on your security rights, Costpoint may display a message indicating that you do not have access to a drill-through application.
