CP/TE Diagnostics Toolkit

In co-deployed installations, use this utility to identify data discrepancies that exist between Costpoint and Time & Expense prior to upgrading from versions 7.1.x or 8.0 to version 8.1.

Due to greater integration between Costpoint and Time & Expense in version 8.1, it is useful to resolve data discrepancies prior to upgrading to version 8.1. This utility includes 19 separate scripts that identify underlying tables or other settings where missing or conflicting data may result in errors.

Note: Although you can run the same diagnostics in version 8.1, discrepancies are resolved more easily from versions 7.1.x or 8.0. After you upgrade, the Costpoint values, such as for UDTs, become the default value, and the older values from Time & Expense are moved to archive tables. So for example, if you want to set the Costpoint value to the Time & Expense value, that option is no longer available in the utility
