Batch Job Retry Defaults
Field | Description |
---|---|
Number of Retries |
Enter the desired number of retry attempts before the process or report fails. Enter zero to disable this feature. |
Retry Period |
Enter the number of minutes that you want to elapse before again trying to run the process or report. |
Licensing Email ID |
Enter the email address that Costpoint will use for issues related to Costpoint licensing and to send one-time 2FA passcodes. |
Enable AutoComplete |
Select this checkbox to enable the autocomplete feature for fields that have options. Whenever you enter a value (for example, user ID, buyer name, and vendor address) in a field, autocomplete displays suggested values that you can select and use for that field. For example, when you enter "AI" in a User ID field, autocomplete displays a list of user IDs that start with "AI." You can then select one of those suggested values for the User ID field. |
Enable Hey Deltek! | Select this check box to give all Costpoint users the option to use Hey Deltek! voice interaction to enter information into Costpoint. This feature is enabled by default. Clear the checkbox to turn off Hey Deltek!. When this check box is not selected, users cannot edit the setting in Configure User Preferences.
Note: Hey Deltek! is supported on Chrome, Windows, and Android operating systems.

Allow Offline Access | Select this checkbox to enable the download of Costpoint data and allow users to work in Costpoint without an internet connection. This setting is disabled, by default. |
If you enable offline access, select the applications that can go offline using the Offline Access Applications subtask. | |
Allow Collection of Usage Statistics | Select this checkbox to turn on data sharing and enable Costpoint's In-App Guidance that highlights new features and provides personalized tips and suggestions to improve your use of Costpoint.
Note: In-App Guidance is non-intrusive and can be dismissed by the user to continue a task uninterrupted. To personalize the experience, we collect the generic application usage statistics but never personal information.

Enable Dela | Select this checkbox to grant users the capability to interact with the Dela (Deltek AI) feature Ask Dela through text or voice commands. This feature provides users with the ability to inquire about application data and request comprehensive summaries concerning contracts, projects, and other relevant areas within Costpoint.
Attention: Costpoint On-Premise Customers: Dela utilizes the OpenAI GPT Turbo Model available through Microsoft Azure services. To access these AI capabilities within Costpoint, you must have a separate agreement with Microsoft. This agreement will include a license key that must be obtained and integrated into the Costpoint configuration.
Note: For privacy and security purposes, Ask Dela does not store any questions or answers.
Note: Dela leverages the OpenAI GPT Turbo Model through Microsoft Azure services. Due to the service agreement with Microsoft, Deltek is subject to certain limitations. Given the high demand, some users might occasionally encounter slight delays or brief unavailability of Dela. Deltek is working closely with Microsoft to overcome these limitations.
