Unit Fields Based on Inventory Items

When you create a new unit table from an existing inventory item, certain data is carried over into the Units Info Center. For example, item numbers map to unit numbers.

The following table shows how data from the inventory item is mapped to the fields in the new unit table.

Item Number	Unit Number
Item Description	Unit Name
Inventory Unit of Measure	Singular Label, Plural Label
Reimbursable account from the Item’s referenced item category	Regular Account
Indirect account from the Item’s referenced item category	Overhead Account
