Employee Info Center Overview

The Employee Info Center contains information about the personnel who work for your company, its branch offices, and its consultant firms.

Use the Employee Info Center to maintain all employee information. This includes personal and accounting data, general descriptions of employee skills and experience, details about the customers and contacts with whom they work, the opportunities and projects that they work on, and related activities.

If you use Multicompany, your ability to access employee records within the Employee Info Center depends upon your security settings.

For each employee, you must specify an organization in the Organization field on the General tab of the Employee Info Center. This organization code determines the employee's home company, which manages the employee's timesheet and expense report processes, and which is responsible for paying him or her.

In other areas of Vision, you can see employee records from all companies in the enterprise.

If you use Multicurrency, employee amounts display in the functional currency of the employee's home company, as determined via organization codes.
