Change Company Utility

If you use the Multicompany feature, the Change Company utility enables you to change the company on which you are currently working, without logging out of Vision.

All employees access the same Vision database, no matter which company each employee has as a "home" company. You do not need to log on and off different databases to perform company-specific tasks. Instead, you use the Change Company utility to switch to a different company.

You can also specify that Vision should default to your home company when you open Vision.

Be aware that If you switch to another company and your currently active period is closed for that company, your ability to process data in that period will be restricted if Allow Processing in Closed Periods is not selected for your security role.
