Roles Overview

Security roles define each Vision user's access rights and determine what actions the user can perform. Vision identifies a user's security role when the user logs in. Each user must be assigned to one role.

You can assign multiple users to the same role, which is useful when you want to group employees with the same access rights.

You can establish a separate role for each business unit in your organization. For example, a "marketing" role restricts a user's access to only those Vision features that relate to marketing.
