Refresh Dashboard Data
If you think the displayed dashboard view does not reflect the current data in the Analysis Cubes, you can load the most recent data for that view. You can also temporarily pause a dashboard's automatic data updates if they interfere with your ability to interact with the filters and charts.
- Refresh Data for the Dashboard View
If you think the displayed dashboard view does not reflect the current data in the Analysis Cubes, use the Refresh Data icon (
) to load the most recent data for that view. (This is different than the Refresh Data icon in the upper-right corner of the dashpart window. Clicking that icon always displays the Original View for the dashboard.)
- Pause Automatic Updates
As you interact with a performance dashboard, it may have to send a query to the data source to update the data on the dashboard. If you are working with a dense dashboard with a lot of data or a very large data source, the automatic update may take a long time. If this occurs and you want to avoid waiting for each update while you make several changes to filter values, for example, use the Pause Automatic Updates icon (
) to pause the automatic updates until you are finished making changes.
