Use the Summarized tab to consolidate multiple budgets. If the same account is specified in more than one budget, Vision combines the amounts into one line. If you use Multicurrency, you can consolidate budgets that share the same functional currency.

Budgets to Consolidate

This column lists all of the budgets available for consolidation.

Budget Year
|
This column lists the years to which each budget applies.

Organization
|
This column lists the organization associated with each budget.
|
Currency
|
If you use the Multicurrency feature, this column shows each budget's functional currency. You can consolidate only those budgets that share the same functional currency.

Account
|
This column lists the account numbers of all of the accounts in the consolidated budget.
|
Account Name
|
This column lists the account names of all of the accounts in the consolidated budget.
|
Annual
|
This column lists the total annual budgeted amount for each account in the consolidated budget.

1-12
|
These columns list the total period-by-period budgeted amounts for each account in the consolidated budget
By default, Vision includes 12 fields for the period range, 1-12. (This range can be changed in Utilities.). Whatever you enter in the
Period Range fields on the Budget tab, fields 1-12 will remain visible and active. However, for functions such as distributing or compounding the annual budget, Vision uses the values you enter in the
Period Range fields.
For example if you enter 1 and 3 in the
Period Range fields, select an account from the Budget grid, and click
, Vision calculates the annual budget for three periods, and populates the appropriate values in Fields 1, 2, and 3 only.
