Project Planning Named Resources
You can search for resources based on criteria such as the employee's availability, skills, particular start and end dates, and even the calendar options you are searching for.
Named resources are existing employees who work for your firm. Generic resources act as placeholders for actual people to be named later. You can use generic resources for summary-level plans or for plans intended to function as "what-if" scenarios.
Resource searches allow you to enter detailed criteria for a resource search, such as required skills and proficiency levels. You can also specify both a logical operator (=, >, <) and a conditional operator (AND, OR). You can save a resource search for use in other planning sessions.
You must perform a search before you view the employee's related schedule and utilization information.
