Proposals Configuration Overview

If your firm uses custom proposals, you can modify merge templates. which are Rich Text File (.rtf) documents that contain merge codes designed to retrieve data from the Info Center.

You set up SF254 and SF255 proposals in Proposals Configuration.

Vision comes with a set of sample merge templates; each one is designed for a specific Info Center. Vision also comes with a set of merge codes for each Info Center. You can use these merge codes to modify the sample merge templates, or to create your own templates. Each merge template, whether sample, modified, or new, uses merge codes for one of the Info Centers.

The Account and Unit Info Centers are in the Vision Accounting application, and unavailable in the Proposals application.
