Scheduling Reports and Profiles Overview

You can schedule a favorite report, a standard report, or a profile to be generated at another time.

A profile is a group of reports that you normally want to print at the same time. You can add any report to a profile. In most cases, firms schedule a profile to run on a regular basis.

For example, to generate a set of General Ledger reports every week, you could do the following:

1. Set up a GL Reports profile that includes the Account Analysis, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Profit Planning Monitor, and Trial Balance.
2. Submit the profile to be printed each Friday at the close of business.
