Select Projects for Revenue Generation

You can select projects for a Revenue Generation processing run.

It is not usually necessary to run Revenue Generation for all of your firm's projects at one time. You may want to run Revenue Generation for different projects at different times. The more projects that you select for a processing run, the more time it may take to complete the processing run.

You can also create and save searches for selecting different groups of projects.

To select projects when you run Revenue Generation, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Accounting > Revenue > Revenue Generation.
2. On the Revenue Generation form, click in the Select Specific Projects field and select one or more projects on the Project Lookup.

   An alternative is to click in the Saved Options field on the Revenue Generation form to select the search options to use.

3. On the Revenue Generation form toolbar, select one of the following actions:
   • Click Run to run Revenue Generation now for the selected projects.
   • Click Schedule to send the job to the Process Server to be run at a scheduled time.
