The fields on the grid display information from the Proposal Log dialog box.

 Edit

Click this option to edit details about a proposal on the Proposals grid. When you click this option,
Vision displays the Proposal Log dialog box; you can edit details about the proposal but you cannot access the actual proposal record from this dialog box.

 Insert
|
Click this option to add a proposal to the grid. When you click this option,
Vision displays the Proposal Log dialog box. Use this dialog box to enter proposal information.

 Copy
|
Click this option to copy a proposal to a new row on the grid.
|
 Delete
|
Click this option to delete a proposal from the grid.
|
| Name
|
This field displays the proposal's name.
|
| Number
|
This field displays the proposal's number.
|
| Type
|
This field displays the proposal type, such as Cost Proposal or Technical Proposal.
|
|
Organization
|
This field displays the name of the
organization in your company that is responsible for producing the proposal.
|
| Responsible Person
|
This field displays the name of the employee responsible for producing the proposal.
|
| Status
|
This field displays the current status of the proposal, such as Pending or Won.
|
| Source
|
This field displays the source of the opportunity associated with the proposal. Your sources may include
client referrals, consultant jobs, and marketing campaigns, among others.

| Date Advertised
|
This field displays the date the request for proposal was advertised.
|
| Due Date
|
This field displays the date by which the proposal must be submitted.
|
| Submittal Date
|
This field displays the date on which the proposal was submitted.
|
| Award Date
|
This field displays the date on which your company was awarded a contract for the proposed job.
|
| Fee
|
This field displays the fee associated with the proposal.
|
| Linked Proposal
|
If you link a custom proposal to the opportunity record, this field displays a file link to the proposal record. You can click the file name and path in this field to open the custom proposal. To link a proposal record to an opportunity, you must use the Proposals application to open the proposal record.

|
If you link an SF330 proposal to the opportunity record, this field displays a file link to the proposal record. You can click the file name and path in this field to open the SF330 proposal.
