Period Selection Dialog Box

Use the Period Selection dialog box to select the accounting period in which you want to work (your active period). You can also specify that the latest period be the default active period when you open Vision.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following step:

From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Change Period.

Field	Description
Select Processing Period	Select the accounting period that you want to be the active processing period.
Automatically Default to Current Period at Startup	Select this option if you want Vision to automatically select the latest period as your active period each time you open Vision. If you do not select this check box, Vision displays the Change Period dialog box when you open Vision so you can select the active period for your session. Whether or not you select this option, you can change your active period from within Vision.
