If, as you work with a visualization map, you create a version of it that you want to preserve, you can save it as a set of saved options from the Visualization window. You can then switch from one set of saved options for that map to another while you work with the map in the Visualization window.
The option to save a set of options is only available if the visualization map is a favorite. You cannot save and load sets of options in the Visualization window when you work with maps that are not based on a favorite.
To display a visualization map based on a set of saved options, complete the following steps:
- If the Load Settings button and Save Settings button are not displayed in the upper-right corner of the Visualization window, select Show slider and load setting controls on the General tab of the Options dialog box and regenerate the visualization map.
- Click the Load Settings button to open the Load Settings dialog box.
- Select the set of options you want.
To regenerate the visualization map as it was when you last closed it, select <Last Used>. To regenerate the default version of the map based on the options in the Options dialog box, select <Default>.
- Click Load.
Vision regenerates the visualization map based on the saved options.
