Downloading Reports Overview

You can download and save any Vision report in a variety of file formats. For reports with multiple pages, you can specify which pages to include in the file.

Some Vision reports, because of the internal structure required to retrieve the data, do not download to Microsoft Excel in a useful format. The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) summary reports, such as the CRM Employee Summary, are examples of such reports. If you need to download the data to Excel from this type of report, review the corresponding Data Export reports to see if they meet your needs. If not, a Deltek Customer Care representative may be able to suggest an alternative solution.

You can use Data Export reports to download data into Excel spreadsheets for auditing, custom reporting, and analysis purposes. You print or download Data Export reports the same way that you do other types of Vision reports. The Data Export reports have more limited formatting options, data filtering options, and security than do other types of reports.
