Add Project Descriptions

Add project descriptions to block 8 and block 9 of the SF255 proposal. The descriptions come from the Projects Info Center > Background tab > Descriptions grid.

To determine which description appear automatically in blocks 8 and 9 (Brief Description, Detailed Description, and so on), click Edit , Preferences to display the 255 Preference dialog box. Select a Description Category.

You can change the automatically supplied description if, for example, you want to include multiple descriptions, or if a project does not have a description in the Projects Info Center.

To add a project description, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Proposals > SF255 Proposals.
  2. Click the Projects or Federal tab.
  3. In block 8 or 9, click Add Project Descriptions.
  4. On the Select Items dialog box, click a description in the Available column and then click Right -> to move the description to the Selected column.
  5. Use the Up or Down buttons to change the sequence of the descriptions.
  6. Click OK.
