Display the New Item Dialog Box

You display the New Item dialog box from a form in the Purchasing and Inventory applications.

To display the dialog box, complete the following step:

Open a Purchasing or Inventory form and enter an item.

If you enter an item that is not in Vision's Items list, and the Automatic Add/Items is selected in Purchasing and Inventory Configuration, Vision displays a prompt to ask if you want to add the item to the list. If you click Yes, Vision displays the New Item dialog box.
