Create a Visualization Map
To create a visualization map, select the type of map and specify map options and the data you want to include.
To create a visualization map, complete the following steps:
- From the Vision Navigation menu, click Reporting > Visualization.
- In the Reports grid, click the Options column for the type of visualization map you want to create: Project Visualization, Opportunity Visualization, or Project Planning Visualization.
- Click to display the Options dialog box.
- On the General tab, enter the name of the visualization map in Report Name, and enter or select the other options you want.

On the Grouping tab, select categories of data to group by.
You must select at least one grouping category. Selections on this tab determine which settings are available in the drop-down list for the Grouping field in the Visualization window.
- On the Metrics tab, select one or more metrics for which you want to view values on the visualization map.
- Use the Drill Down Reports tab to select reports to which you want to drill-down from the visualization map.
- Click Apply.
- Click the Selection column in the Reports grid and click to display the Lookup dialog box.
- Specify the record selection criteria, and click Apply.
- Save your visualization as a favorite if you want it to be available in the Visualization Reports grid for future use.

Preview on the Reporting toolbar.
Vision displays the visualization map in the Visualization window.
