Field Security Report

The Field Security report provides a list of fields that were locked or hidden for one or more roles within the Screen Designer.

Use the Role drop-down to select the roles whose fields you want to include on the report. Your report results may include more roles than you selected in the drop-down list. This occurs because the report displays the role you selected and any additional roles listed for a hidden or locked field.

You can use this report if you need to create a new role with security that matches an existing user role. Run the Field Security report for the existing role to list the security details for the respective fields and then apply the same rights for the new role.
