RevGen File

The Revenue Generation file of journal entry transactions (the "RevGen file") is generated when you run Revenue Generation. For each project that you specified for the processing run, the file shows the amount of accrued revenue.

You must post this file to put each project's accrued revenue data into its project record. The name of the newest RevGen file is shown in Journal Entry File Name on the Revenue Generation form.

To see the journal entry transactions that were created by running Revenue Generation, print the Revenue Generation Transaction List.
