Enter a number in this field to identify the marketing campaign record.
If you configure
Vision to use the automatic numbering feature, you cannot enter a number in this field. Instead,
[AUTONUMBER] displays in this field.
When you select an existing record,
Vision populates this field with the selected record's number.

Description
|
Click
Edit to access the Text Editor and enter a descriptive title for the marketing campaign. This description displays in lookup lists.

Organization
|
Enter the name of the
organization in your firm to which this marketing campaign belongs.
Organizations are discrete business units within your company. You can set up
organizations by region, function, responsibility, or any other method.
You can enter an
organization name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an
organization from your database, or click
Search and use the
Organization Lookup.
This field displays if your firm uses
Vision
Organizations.

Project
|
Enter the promotional
project associated with the marketing campaign. You can enter a promotional
project name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select a promotional
project from your database, or click
Search and use the
Project Lookup.
If you use Accounting and your security role can access Labor Cost Rates/Amounts, the labor and expense data for the promotional project that you select here displays in the
Actual Costs field on this tab.
If you use Accounting and do not select a promotional project here, you can enter an amount in the
Actual Costs field and save it to the Vision database.
To link the
project records of
projects awarded to your firm as a result of this marketing campaign, use the
Projects Tab instead.

Target Audience

Use this drop-down list to select the market segment to which the campaign is directed, such as CFOs, Marketing and Sales, or
Project Managers. You define target audience options in Code Table Configuration.

Objective

Use this drop-down list to select the goal of the campaign. You define objective options in Code Table Configuration.

Type
|
Use this drop-down list to select the type for the marketing campaign. You define type options in Code Table Configuration.

Budget
|
Enter the total amount budgeted for the campaign.

Actual Costs
|
If you do not use Accounting, or you have not associated a promotional
project with the campaign using the
Project field on this tab, you can enter an amount in this field.
Vision saves it to the database.
If you use Accounting, your security role has access to Labor Cost Rates/Amounts. Also, the
Project field on this tab contains the promotional project associated with the campaign. The amount in this field equals the sum of the project's Job to Date expense and labor detail. The amount is not stored in the database.
If your security role does not have access to Labor Cost Rates/Amounts,
No Access displays in this field.

Revenue Target
|
Enter the amount of revenue your firm seeks to generate from the campaign.
|
Campaign Manager
|
Enter the name of the employee who is the Campaign Manager for the marketing campaign.
You can enter a name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an employee from your database, or click
Search to use the Employee Lookup.
When you enter an employee name in this field,
Vision creates a hyperlink between the employee name and the corresponding Employee Info Center record.
Click the name to open the record in the current browser window or right-click the name and then click the
Open in new window option to open the record in a separate browser window.

Marketing Manager

Enter the name of the employee who is the Marketing Manager for the marketing campaign.
You can enter a name directly in this field, use the Quick Find feature to select an employee from your database, or click
Search to use the Employee Lookup.
When you enter an employee name in this field,
