Configure Default Incoming Document Pools

You can configure the global document pools that specific external contact roles upload files to for both projects and enquiries.

If an external user has multiple contact roles linked to several incoming pools, files will be uploaded to the first pool, determined alphabetically. If you do not configure an incoming pool for a particular contact role then files uploaded by that role will be uploaded to the default incoming pool.

To configure default incoming document pools:

  1. On the header bar, click Admin.
  2. On the left navigation pane, click System Configuration.
  3. In the Teamwork Access menu group, click Default Incoming Pools.
  4. On the Contact Role Pool tab, use the Linked to list to select either Project or Enquiry.
  5. To assign a document pool that an external contact role uploads files to, do the following:
    1. Click to add a blank row.
    2. From the first list on the blank row, select the contact role that you want to assign an incoming document pool to.
    3. From the second list, select the incoming document pool.
    4. Repeat the above steps for each additional contact role that you want to assign.
  6. To remove an incoming pool mapping for a contact role, click .
