- Issue Defects
After client and trade defects are logged against a project, the next step is to issue them for review. Defect reviews are usually conducted by the contract administrator, who then decides if they are defects in the works, or whether they are maintenance issues. If they are accepted as defects, the administrator can then issue instructions to the contractor to rectify the defects within a reasonable time. - Update Multiple Defects
You use the Bulk Edit feature to apply the same updates to multiple defects in one operation. You can allocate work packages, reallocate and reopen defects, request reinspections, and close defects. - Reallocate a Defect
If authorized, you can reallocate a defect to another project contact to investigate. - Request a Reinspection of a Defect
If authorized, you can request a reinspection of a defect. - Close a Defect
You close a defect when it has been satisfactorily rectified, or when you determine it is not an actual defect. - Reopen a Defect
You use the Bulk Edit feature to reopen closed defects if they have not been rectified correctly. When you reopen a defect, it is sent back to the person it was originally allocated to. - Monitor Defects
Use the My Mobile Notifications dashpart to monitor your issued defects across all projects.
