Search for Published Emails from Outlook

You can search for emails that have been published to the Document Management System from within Outlook. When you search for emails, it searches against email subjects, body text, and attachments.

You must have the latest Deltek PIM Outlook Add-in installed and enabled.

To search for published emails from Outlook:

  1. On the Home tab in Outlook, in the Deltek PIM group, click Search DMS.
    A Deltek PIM Search tab opens in your default browser.
  2. In the Search text here field, enter the text that you want to search against, and click Search.
    Emails that match the search text display in the results pane. If many emails are returned, you can apply one or more filters to refine the search results. For information, see the related links at the end of this topic.
  3. To view an email, click .
  4. To view the details of an email, click the email subject to display the Summary pane.
