Configure Reporting
As a system administrator, you specify which reports to use for the reporting of controlled documents and documents issues for projects. If you have SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) installed on your PIM server, you can choose between legacy and SSRS report types.
SSRS reports work in all modern browsers and provide enhanced reporting options - users can add filters and groupings to their reports, and choose Excel or PDF as the report format. If you do not have SSRS installed on your server, you can only use legacy report types. Legacy reports are not supported in all modern browsers, and require users to generate reports in Internet Explorer.
