Log a Risk

When you identify a risk to a project, you can log a record of it in the project's risk register, and assign it to an internal contact on the project to review and manage.

To log a risk:

  1. Navigate to the project.
    You can search for projects using the Search Projects link in the Activity Zone. Projects that you are linked to also appear on the History tab on your contact record, and in the Projects dashpart in the Personal Zone.
  2. Click the Risk tab.
    If the Risk tab is not displayed, click more to display all available tabs.
  3. On the Risk Register page, click .
  4. On the Risk Details form, enter information for all the relevant fields.

    Fields that you are required to provide details for display a red exclamation mark icon. All other fields are optional, but you should fill in as many details as you can.

  5. Click Save.
    The person that you selected as the risk owner receives an email with a link to review the risk.
