You can move a contact to a different organization, such as when an internal person moves to a different branch of your organization. When you move a contact, you choose whether to keep their contact methods and associated contacts.
To move a contact to a different organization:

Navigate to the contact record.

On the contact record, click
.

On the Move Contact screen, enter the name of the organization that you want to move the contact to in the
Select New Organization field.
As you type, a list of matching organizations displays. Click the organization to select it.
- Optional:
Under Select Contact Methods to keep, select any contact methods that remain the same in the new organization.
- Optional:
Under Select Associated Contacts to keep, select any associated contacts that remain the same in the new organization.

Save.
