As an employee, you are granted a number of days or hours for which to book time off from work. You can request, modify, and cancel absence requests on the Absence tab on your contact record. Usually, any requests, updates, and cancellations require approval after you submit them. - Approve Absence
You can configure absence management to require approval for all absence requests, modifications, and cancellations. As an absence approver, you can choose to approve or reject requests and cancellations yourself, or you can delegate them to another person within your company. - View Absences in your Company
You can view your absence requests over a specified date range from your contact record, including past and future absences. You can also view all absences for everyone in your company via the Absence Calendar.
