Set Up Two-Factor Authentication via the PIM Mobile Working App

If two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on your system, you can use the PIM Mobile Working app to set up 2FA on your account.

Before you set up 2FA for your user account, you must ensure that you have one of the following authenticator apps installed on your mobile device: Duo, Google Authenticator, and Microsoft Authenticator. You can download these apps from your respective mobile app store.

To set up two-factor authentication via the Mobile Working app:

  1. On the PIM log in screen of the Mobile Working app, enter your PIM username and password, and then tap Setup Two Factor Authentication (2FA).
If the log in is successful, you receive a notification that an email has been sent to you. This email is sent to your registered email address, and includes further instructions on how to complete the setup of two-factor authentication.
  2. Open the email that you received, and click the activation link.
You have a set time to click the activation link in the email before it expires. If the link expires, you must return to the log in screen on the mobile app, and tap Setup Two Factor Authentication again.
  3. In the mobile browser window that opens on the login screen, enter your PIM username and password, and click Log In.
  4. On the Two Factor Setup screen, click the link directly under the QR code on the right.
Your chosen authenticator app opens, and displays a 2FA code for PIM.
  5. In the authenticator app, copy the code that is displayed.
  6. Return to the mobile browser window and paste the code from the authenticator app into the Code field on the Two Factor Setup screen, and then click Continue.
You only have a set time in which to complete this step before the code expires. If the code expires, you must obtain a new code from the authenticator app.

Two-factor authentication is now set up on your account. When you log in to PIM via the web or mobile app, you must now enter or paste the current 2FA code from your authenticator app into the Six Digit Code (2FA) field on the log in screen.
