Share a Document Basket with a Community

Share document baskets to enable collaboration, granting community members access to the contents within. When you share a basket, you have the option to allow members to edit the document basket, enhancing flexibility and teamwork.

The steps below are performed when Smart View is enabled for document access. If you do not use Smart View, see: Edit a Document Basket.

To share a document basket with a community:

  1. Do either of the following:
    1. To share a document basket linked to a project or other entity type, go to the record and click the Documents tab.
    2. To share a global document basket, go to the Information Zone.
  2. Click the Basket Mode option at the top.
  3. In the basket pane on the left, click the basket that you want to manage.
  4. Click Edit and Share Basket.
  5. Click the COMMUNITIES tab.
  6. Select the check box of each community that you want to share the basket with.
  7. To allow members of a selected community to edit the basket, select the check box in the Edit column.
  8. Click Save.
