As an action administrator, you can mark outstanding actions as abandoned, which is useful for users who want to start fresh with historic actions that have not been completed. Abandoned actions are removed from the system and will no longer appear in the Actions dashpart or the Actions bandset on associated entity records.

Go to the
Administration Zone and enter
Manage Actions in the
Search Admin Zone field.

Click the
Manage Actions link that displays.

On the Manage Actions screen, click
to display all outstanding actions.
If you receive a large number of results, use the filters to narrow down the results to the ones you are interested in. For example, you can filter by entity record or the contact that actions have been passed to.

Select the check box of each action that you want to manage.

Click
Mark Abandoned.

On the Abandon Selected Actions dialog box, enter the reason for abandoning the actions.

Click
Apply.
