Some contract item types may require completing after the required response(s) have been added. If you have a role that allows you to complete contract items, you close an item to prevent any further responses from being added.
To complete a contract item:

Navigate to the
Personal Zone

On the CM Notifications Dashpart, click
to expand the CM Item For Review section.
If the CM Notifications Dashpart is not displayed, click
to add it.

Click
for the item that you want to action.

On the contract item page that displays, click
Complete.

On the Complete page, do one or both of the following:
- In the
Completion Response field, enter some completion notes.
- In the Make Completion Response section, select one or more responses.
Note: You can view all responses to the contract item in the Approval Comments at the bottom of the form. Some item types may not require you to provide a completion response, although it is good practice to provide one.

If the item type is configured to notify people upon completion, do any of the following to manage who gets notified:
- In the Notify Project Members of Completion section, deselect any project members that you do not want to notify.
- In the Notify Other Project Members of Completion section, click
to add additional project members. In the blank field that displays, enter the name of the person that you want to add. As you type, a list of matching people displays, and you can click a person to add them.
- In the Notify Others of Completion section, click
to add people that do not work on the project. In the blank field that displays, enter the name of the person that you want to add. As you type, a list of matching people displays, and you can click a person to add them.

Complete.
