Next to step through the wizard to assign sets, work packages, and link additional projects.
Step | Description |
---|
Set Memberships | Select one or more set memberships to link the placeholder to. Set memberships allow you to categorize documents. This allows sets to be grouped and filtered within the
DLM. You can also report on selected sets. |
Set Work Packages | Select one or more work packages to associate with the placeholder. Work packages, organized on the entity level, offer a robust method for categorizing, filtering, and grouping placeholders. A placeholder can be assigned to multiple work packages, mirroring subcontract or trade packages on a construction project. |
Additional Projects | Select one or more additional projects to link the placeholder to. Each placeholder maintains a unique number and short number across projects, streamlining document management in large project scenarios that are split into multiple projects. The primary entity link is essential and cannot be removed. |
