Publish Snapshots of Documents
You can publish the current state of documents that you are working on while you keep the files checked out to you. These are called snapshots, and they allow you to provide the latest updates to users while you maintain control of the documents as you continue to work on them.
Note: You cannot publish snapshots of documents to document pools that are configured for approval.
