Add a Note to a Row in a Timesheet

You can add a note to a row in a timesheet to provide an explanation of the time entry. Notes are visible to your timesheet approver, and timesheet administrators.

To add a note to a row in a timesheet:

  1. Navigate to the Personal Zone.
  2. On the Timesheets dashpart, click against the timesheet that you want to open.
    Use the From and To fields to change the date range to display timesheets for, if required. If the Timesheets dashpart is not displayed, click to add it.
  3. On the timesheet form, click on the row that you add a note to.
  4. In the Notes dialog box, enter your note, and then click OK.
    A blue information icon appears next to the timesheet category on the row.

To edit an existing note, click on the row again to open the Notes dialog box.
