If authorized, you can reallocate an observation to another project contact to investigate.
Note: To reallocate multiple observations in one operation, you can use the Bulk Edit feature. For information, see
Update Multiple Observations.
To reallocate an observation:

Navigate to the project.
You can search for projects using the
Search Projects link in the
Activity Zone. Projects that you are linked to also appear on the History tab on your contact record, and in the Projects dashpart in the
Personal Zone.

Click the Observations tab.
If the Observations tab is not visible on the header band, click
more to display additional menu items.

Click
Search.
If many results are returned, you can apply one or more filters, such as allocated contact, status, observation type, and so on.

Click
for the observation that you want to action.

On the Observations Action window, click
Re-allocate.

On the Re-allocate Observation screen, use the
Re-assign to list to select the contact that you want to reallocate the observation to.

In the
Comments field, enter some notes, such as the reason for reallocating the observation.

Click
Re-allocate.
The contact that you have selected to reallocate the observation to receives an email notification.
