Remove a Role from a Document Pool
You remove a DMS security definition from a document pool to revoke access for all users associated with the linked role. You choose to apply the change to the selected pool only, or to the selected pool and any child pools under it.
To remove a role from a document pool:
- On the header bar, click Admin.
- In the Search Admin Zones field at the top, enter DMS Pool Management.
- Click the DMS Pool Management link that displays.
- In the list of document pools on the left, click the document pool that you want to edit to select it.
- In the Pool List pane on the right, click Edit Pool Settings.
- Click the Role Security tab.
- Click Delete for the security definition that you want to remove.

On the Delete Security Definition prompt, click one of the following options:
- Apply to this pool only to remove the security definition from the selected pool only. Any child pools will not be affected.
- Apply to descendants also to remove the security definition from the selected pool and any child pools that exist.
