Map Network Folders to Projects
As a PIM administrator, you manage network folder mappings via the PIM Administration Zone.
After you map a network folder to a project, project members can view and edit unmanaged documents within the folder from the Documents tab on mapped projects, and publish them to the PIM Document Management System.
Document Security
Access to unmanaged files in PIM is governed by the same access rights that are configured on the shared network folders. Files that users do not have access to view or edit in the shared network folders still appear when they search for documents from mapped projects, but users cannot view or edit them unless they have permission to do so at the network level.
