Subcontract Tendering

PIM can help you streamline the subcontract tendering process by automating document creation, distributing drawings and specifications to your supply chain, and capturing tender responses.

There are four stages to subcontract tendering in PIM:
  1. Prepare work packages. Create work packages for each specialist task on your construction project. Link relevant drawings and specifications to each work package, and add the organizations that you want to invite to tender.
  2. Issue work packages for tendering. Enable the work packages for tendering and issue them to the designated subcontractors.
  3. Manage the tendering process. Track and review tender responses, add any relevant documentation, and award the contract to the winning bidder. PIM can also send reminders to tenderers if they haven't submitted their bids by the deadline.
  4. Edit and revise work packages. If you need to update a work package during the tendering process, you can create a new version and reissue it.
