Deltek Unionpoint Integration
The API Access Management page allows PIM system administrators to issue OAuth 2.0 client IDs for connections to access your site via the Unionpoint PIM Connector.
Note: The API Access Management page is designed only for use with theUnionpoint PIM Connector. It does not apply to external or bespoke API connections. Any requirements to develop API integrations outside of Unionpoint need to be discussed with your Deltek account or custom success manager.
The expected API access management process is as follows:
- A Unionpoint developer requests access to your PIM site for a specific integration and provides the appropriate redirect URI for their Unionpoint platform. (Redirect URIs may vary by region, so developers should check the appropriate URI for their region.)
- The PIM system administrator creates a new API access record via the API Access Management page using the redirect URI supplied by the Unionpoint developer. A client ID is automatically generated as part of this step.
- The PIM system administrator creates a new user account with appropriate user role rights. Alternatively, you may choose to use an existing user account if one has already been created for the purpose of integration.
- The PIM system administrator issues the user credentials and client ID to the Unionpoint developer.
- The Unionpoint developer uses these details to authenticate the Unionpoint PIM Connector to establish a secure oAuth token-based connection to the PIM application.
