Toolbar for the Timesheet Form

Use the toolbar on the timesheet form to submit timesheets, as well as to save timesheets, switch between basic and advanced entry modes, undo changes, clear timesheets and expense lines, automatically add your projects and enquiries, and attach and link receipt documents.

Timesheet Toolbar

Use these buttons to perform the following tasks:

Button Description
Submit Timesheet After you complete and save a timesheet, select this option to submit the timesheet for approval and processing. Once you submit a timesheet, you cannot make any further edits.
Save Timesheet Select this option to save your timesheet entries.
Revert To Saved Select this option to undo any unsaved changes in a timesheet.
Basic Entry Select this option to enter basic hours only in a timesheet.
Advanced Entry Select this option to enter basic and overtime hours in a timesheet. When you click in a time cell, the Additional Time Items dialog box displays. You can also enter supporting notes in this mode.
Clear Timesheet Select this option to delete all time rows in a timesheet. You choose to delete only rows which do not have any hours defined against them, or all rows.
From Saved Timesheet Select this option to copy all rows from another timesheet into the currently displayed timesheet. You can also choose to copy all time entries from a selected timesheet.
From Resource Plan Select this option to create rows for all projects and enquiries for which you are resourced against for the period of the timesheet.
Add Current Select this option to create rows for all projects and enquiries for which you are linked to as a contact.
Clear Expenses Select this option to clear all expense rows from a timesheet.
Link Receipts Select this option to link attached receipts to expense rows. This option is only available if you have attached one or more expense receipt documents to a timesheet.
Select this option to upload receipt document files to a timesheet. In the Add Receipt Files dialog box that displays, you can drag and drop files onto the dialog box, and open a Windows file explorer dialog box to select files.
