Local File Management Dashpart

The Local File Management dashpart allows you to easily manage your files in the DMS. Using this dashpart, you can publish files, check files in, undo file check-outs, add files to your local working files folder, remove files, and create new documents from templates.

The In PIM section displays all files that you have checked out from PIM. The Not in PIM section displays all files that reside in your local working files folder which have not yet been published to PIM.

The following options are available in this dashpart:

Check a file back in to PIM	> Check-in File
Undo a file checkout	> Undo Check-out
Undo the checkout of multiple files You must select the files in the In PIM section to enable this feature	Undo Check-out
Check in one or more files without modifying any of the publication settings You must select the files in the In PIM section to enable this feature	Express Check-in
Publish a file from your local working files folder	> Publish File
Publish multiple files from your local working files folder You must select the files in the Not in PIM section to enable this feature	Publish Files
Remove a file from your local working files folder	> Remove File
Remove multiple files from your local working files folder You must select the files in the Not in PIM section to enable this feature	Remove Files
