Revert Debtor Settlements

WorkBook allows you to revert a settlement in the Eliminations subgrid when necessary. For example, you can revert the settlement if the invoice and the payment that you just settled do not match.

Note: You can only revert a settlement in the Eliminations view of the Transactions subgrid and not in the Eliminations tab.

To use the Debtor List submodule, you must have access to Finance & Administration as defined in the User Access Rights submodule under Settings.

To revert a debtor settlement:

  1. On the main toolbar, click Finance & Administration .
  2. If you have more than one company in your system, use the drop-down list above the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen to select the company for which you will revert debtor settlements.
  3. In the left pane of the Finance & Administration screen, click Debtors > Debtor list.
  4. Click the List tab and highlight the debtor with the settlement you want to revert.
  5. Click the Transactions tab.
  6. Select the Closed filter and highlight the transaction with the settlement you want to revert.
  7. In the subgrid, click Eliminations and under the Revert column, click to revert the settlement.
  8. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
