Description

Use the Description submodule in the Jobs module to view the description of the job that you select in the Jobs List. Description enables you to keep specifications and other notes on the bids that you received from potential suppliers. You can also copy the specifications or notes of the winning bid to a Purchase Order.

To use the Description, you must have access to Jobs as defined in User Access Rights under Settings.

This submodule provides the following tabs:

  • Description: Displays the descriptions, specifications, and other bid notes of the selected job. You can add, duplicate, delete, approve, and cancel approvals of job descriptions, specifications, and bid notes.
  • Suppliers: Displays the list of potential suppliers for the selected job. You can add and delete job suppliers.
  • Overview: Displays the list of all potential suppliers for the selected job.
  • Task Conversation: Displays the description conversation for the selected job. You can manage and respond to description conversations.
