Depending on your role in WorkBook, you can move contacts from one resource to another in
Resources. For example, if a resource contact moves to another department or resigns from the company, you can assign another contact to that resource. Alternatively, you can move prospect and client contacts in the prospect card in
Pipelines,
Clients & Prospects List,
My Activities, and
All Activities in
CRM.
Note: You must have permission to add, delete, and modify resources to complete this task.
To move a resource contact:

On the main toolbar, click
Resources
.

On the right side of the grid toolbar, under the filter icon
, select
Resource Default Grid from the drop-down menu.

Select the resource associated with the contact that you want to move by completing any of the following actions:
- In the
Search in Grid field, enter the name of the resource, then select it from the grid.
- Click the
Filter field next to the
Search in Grid field, select the resource type as your filter, and select the resource from the grid. For example, you can use
Clients as the filter and then select the client name from the grid.

On the grid toolbar, click
Resource Information

On the side toolbar of the resource information card, click
Contacts
.

On the top toolbar of the resource information card, select
Show Inactive to display both active and inactive contacts.

Select the contact that you want to move to another resource and click
Move Contact
on the top toolbar of the resource information card.

In the Move Contact dialog box, select a resource type, then select the resource to which you want to move the contact.
For example, you can select
Clients as the resource type and then select the client name from the drop-down list.

To include the activities associated with the contact in the move, select
Also Move Resource Activities Related to This Contact.

Click
OK.
